IIW International Conference on Advances in Welding and Allied Technologies

Announcement

In conjunction with the 62nd Annual Assembly of International Institute of Welding (IIW), an International Conference entitled “Advances in Welding and Allied Technologies” will be held at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore during 16-17 July 2009. This conference is a major forum for the exchange of knowledge and provides opportunities to network and meet leading experts in the field. Papers are invited on topics related to welding and allied technologies. Topics of interest include, but not limited to:

Brazing and Soldering
Computer aided welding engineering
Thermal cutting processes
Education & training
Health, safety and environment
Inspections & testing
Joining of polymer and ceramic materials

Surface engineering
Welding materials and their weldability
Welding processes
Welding robots and automation
Design, analysis and fabrication of welded structures

Authors are invited to submit a 100-200 word abstract electronically online at www.iiw2009.com

Important Dates

Deadline for Abstract Submission: 31 December 2008
Notification of Abstract Acceptance: 01 February 2009
Deadline for Full Paper Submission: 01 April 2009
Registration at Early-bird rate: 30 April 2009
